About this route
463.7 km is the sum of the five daily GPS recordings. Small gaps between days are left open; the largest is between days two and three near Ouse (3.05 km between recorded endpoints). Elevation is approximate and lightly smoothed. The replay follows distance at an illustrative pace, not recorded speed. Photo pins use the cameras’ recorded locations; the dawn photo sits at the shared Miena overnight stop. This is a story of our ride, not a navigation guide or a battery-range claim.

Roar began in late 2021, when Rory built his first electric mountain bike from a carbon-fibre frame, motor and battery. A personal interest grew into a passion for building bikes and exploring on them.
That passion led to more Roar eBikes and a five-day journey across Tasmania with friends. It remains at the heart of Roar: helping people spend more time outdoors and experience more of the places around them.
